FTR Schedules State of Freight Webinar: 2016 Economic Outlook

If you follow the news, it can feel like the economy is on a roller coaster ride with volatile markets and global uncertainty. Yet what is the underlying economic data telling us? Join FTR’s award winning Senior Economist Bill Witte as he explores what to expect in 2016 during this State of Freight webinar scheduled for Thursday, October 8th, at 11 a.m. EDT.

Following a review of the recent performance of the U.S. economy, Witte will present the economic outlook for 2016. Witte will explore risks to the forecast from potential domestic occurrences " including government policy actions " or from developments abroad.

Witte commented, “The U.S. remains on the slow upward trajectory it has been traversing for most of this recovery.  Over the next year it is hard to see much upside potential, but easy to find potential pitfalls.  Quantifying the latter, however, is much more difficult.”

This webinar will be moderated by Ryan Beall, FTR Business Development Manager. Participant Q&A session will be held after the presentation.

Registration is required prior to webinar date and can be completed at:
